Shek joined Babbé’s Dispute and Risk team in May 2025.
Having completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law and a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the University of Queensland, Shek qualified as a solicitor in Australia in 2021.
Prior to joining Babbé, Shek worked as an associate in Australia since 2021 and in London since 2024, advising on a range of private client and commercial litigation matters.
Recent Highlights
- Assisting Partner acting for the minor and unborn beneficiaries in confidential hostile litigation in respect of a trust restructuring valued at USD 750 million
- Assisting Partner in acting on behalf of an ultra-high net worth beneficiary with respect to a structure comprising of eight trusts, including advising on the economic sanction regime following an asset freeze
- Assisting Partner acting for the former auditors of a Guernsey construction company with respect to breach of duties claim
- Assisting Partner in acting for the trustees in respect of a dissolution and distribution of £350 million in trust assets to beneficiaries and advising in relation to upcoming private law action in relation to the filing of a Suspicious Activity Report, following which the relevant assets were ring-fenced pending court hearing
