Mari is an offshore private client lawyer specialising in non-contentious trust and private client work.
Mari completed her BA Law and LLB degrees at the University of Stellenbosch in 2011. She completed her training contract and board examinations in 2012 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court shortly thereafter. With over 14 years’ experience, she provides clear, practical and tailored advice to private individuals, businesses and charities. She is known for her practical, thoughtful and client-focused approach, taking time to understand each client’s personal, family and financial circumstances and to develop solutions that reflect their objectives
She is a member of the Guernsey International Legal Association (GILA) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has a particular interest in supporting vulnerable clients, including through her work with the Parkinson’s community in Guernsey.
