Keith Bell

Keith is a highly experienced company and commercial solicitor who has held a number of senior in-house legal positions. Keith’s experience in private practice includes many M&A, IPO and joint venture deals. He also advises on other corporate, funds and property-related issues and employment law.

Keith qualified as a solicitor in England in 1999 prior to which he was a Chartered Secretary with various appointments in listed FTSE public companies. He spent time as a company secretary/solicitor for a leading provider of trade credit insurance solutions and was then general counsel at a leading international private equity firm prior to joining the corporate team at Babbé LLP in 2006.

Recent highlights include:

• Acting for two banks in the refinancing of a £128.6m property portfolio
• Acting for a trustee in the sale of an £80m property portfolio
• Acting for a mining exploration company in its refinancing and listing on the London Stock Exchange
