Jamie Devlin
Managing Associate
Jamie joined the firm in March 2025 as an Associate in the Disputes & Risk team and was then promoted to Managing Associate in November 2025. Jamie has over seven years of litigation experience which includes high value professional indemnity disputes in the construction and engineering sectors, as well as dealing with shareholder disputes, regulatory matters, defamation claims and debt recovery actions.
He graduated in 2016 with a degree from the University of Strathclyde in Law and Spanish, before going on to complete the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2017. Jamie was admitted as a solicitor by the Law Society of Scotland in 2019.
Recent Highlights
- Assisting Partner in acting on behalf of the protector and beneficiary of multiple Guernsey trusts, in wide ranging proceedings, including: the vest of assets in a new Trust; variation of Trust instruments; and matters pertaining to the general administration of trusts and companies underlying their trusts
- Assisting Partner in acting for a former director of a prominent Guernsey construction company regarding claims of alleged wrongful trading and an unlawful means conspiracy
- Assisting Partner in acting for a company alleged to have benefitted from a preference issued by a group company prior to its liquidation
- Assisting Partner in acting on behalf of an individual defending a complex unfair prejudice application involving multiple defendants
