Jael Crystal-Azah TEP
Jael practises in a broad range of trusts and private wealth matters, and is instructed by local and international fiduciaries and UHNWIs. Her practise includes all aspects of trusts, wealth structuring, estate and succession planning and drafting of wills for local and non-resident individuals.
She advises on Guernsey probate procedures, obtaining grants of representation as well as dealing with intestacies and issues relating to succession. She also deals with applications for the recognition of foreign powers of attorney in Guernsey and preparing general powers of attorney as well as applications for guardianship orders and administration orders relating to Guernsey real estate.
- Managing a project advising current Babbé clients on their Wills and how the changes in the Guernsey Inheritance law may affect their circumstances.
- Administering Guernsey estates for heirs, personal representatives and executors from the UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Argentina and Mexico.
- Obtaining (in only the second application of its kind in Guernsey) a Guardianship order for a spouse who was confined at home and unable to attend Court.
Jael qualified as a Solicitor in England in 2014. She gained experience in England advising on a range of employment, property and private client matters, before joining Babbé LLP in 2015.
