Anna is a senior lawyer in Babbé LLP’s trusts and pensions team and advises on a full range of matters relating to private and commercial trusts.
Anna additionally has an expertise and interest in pensions law and regulation, derived from her many years advising at a leading UK pensions law practice. She has an in-depth knowledge of Guernsey pensions arrangements, regularly advising on all aspects of the establishment, operation and termination of both international and domestic, and personal and occupational pension schemes.
- Advising the trustee on a major exercise to restructure international pension arrangements operated under a Guernsey trust for employers in numerous jurisdictions.
- As part of a trustee’s liability management exercise, drafting a suite of fresh documentation to address issues created by historic trust documentation which had been replicated over multiple trust structures.
- Reviewing and advising the new trustee on the trust and foundation law aspects of documentation to be adopted as part of a major restructuring exercise of a number of multi-billion dollar structures.
After graduating from Oxford University, Anna qualified as solicitor in England in 2007. She joined Babbé LLP in 2015 from City law firm, Travers Smith LLP. In addition to her client work, she has experience liaising with and representing industry bodies and government departments on the development of new legislation. Anna is an active voice in the pensions industry in Guernsey. She sits on the Committee of the Guernsey Association of Pensions Providers.
