Trustees, Be Careful What You Wish For!
Under rule 79 of the Royal Court Civil Rules, documents disclosed by a party to another during the course of proceedings before the Royal Court of Guernsey may only be used by the “receiving party” for the express purpose of the proceedings in which the disclosure was given. There are, however, exceptions to this rule.
