Babbé’s dispute resolution team remains top tier in Legal 500 UK rankings
Babbé LLP has again been listed as a top-tier firm for dispute resolution in The Legal 500 United Kingdom Solicitors 2021 edition.
Legal 500, a well-respected ranking that analyses the capabilities of law firms across the world, has stated that Babbé LLP ‘genuinely punches with the heavyweights in the offshore sector’. Babbé LLP is a leading Guernsey law firm with a well-established international reputation for the provision of high-quality legal services in the offshore finance sector; with core aims to provide an integrated and seamless service to clients.
Seven of Babbé LLP’s lawyers have been listed in the 2021 Legal 500 ranking for their contribution to respective practices, including all of the firm’s Partners dealing in financial services related work.
Ian Swan has been listed on the Hall of Fame for a further year and Anna Guggenheim QC highlighted as a leading individual, both were involved in Guernsey’s largest ever civil trial the Carlyle v Conway case where they acted as primary defendants. Partners, Nicholas Robison and Todd McGuffin, have also been recognised in the rankings as Next Generation Partners. Mr McGuffin is involved in a number of complex insolvency cases and Mr Robison continues to be involved in a range of contentious trust mandates. Partner, Nicholas Donnithorne, Managing Partner, Andrew Laws and Senior Associate, Elena Gogh have also been recommended.
