Simon Howitt
Simon is a partner at Babbé. He practises company and commercial law, banking law and commercial property law. He has advised leading banks on lending and security documentation and been involved in many mergers and acquisitions in Guernsey in recent years. He is currently a member of the Legislation Select Committee of the States of Guernsey (which is responsible for approving all draft legislation passed in Guernsey prior to its submission to the legislature for approval). He was formerly president of the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce and secretary of the Guernsey Bar Council. Articles of his have been published in several legal journals.
