Bursary Scheme

At Babbé we seek to recruit highly talented and motivated individuals who can shine in a team environment; individuals who can assist us in our commitment to set the standard in the offshore commercial market.

Babbé operates a bursary scheme designed to provide students with financial assistance and practical guidance during their legal studies. Bursaries are generally awarded for the duration of a three-year academic law course and may be renewed for a further year to cover the Bar Vocational Course or Legal Practice Course. Bursary students receive a termly allowance and are also offered paid work experience within the firm during vacation periods.

During their time at university, bursary students are encouraged to use Babbé advocates as an extra resource. We are able to answer questions as they arise, and to provide information, encouragement and assistance on professional examinations and on how to make the most of practicing in the UK before returning to Guernsey.
