Nicholas Donnithorne

Nicholas is a Senior Associate in the trust and fiduciary team.  He joined Babbé in 2011 after more than 15 years working for leading law firms based in the City of London, most recently as a partner at the global top 20 firm McDermott Will & Emery and as Counsel at the similarly sized Reed Smith.  From qualification Nicholas has specialised in pensions law and related matters such as contingent scheme funding, administration service and investment management agreements, and legal covenant assessments.  His practice largely involves advising trustees, employers, beneficiaries and other professionals involved in pensions on the establishment, ongoing administration and  winding-up of pension schemes as well as regulatory compliance and the development of new products, but he has also advised governments and industry bodies on structural pension reform.
