Ian Swan

Ian is a partner at Babbé and head of the dispute resolution team. He has unrivalled breadth and quality of experience as a litigator having practised in commercial litigation for nearly 20 years at the London Bar before moving to Guernsey in 2004 with his locally born wife and young family. He undertakes a wide range of commercial litigation, including frequently acting for and against banks and trust companies and in disputes relating to funds and investments. He has considerable experience of insolvency, administration and liquidation. He is an accredited mediator, a member of the Chancery Bar Association and of ACTAPS, and an Honorary Member of the Commercial Bar Association. He frequently advises in relation to compliance and regulatory issues.
