We advised on the establishment of an investment vehicle for a joint venture between two major international banks to hold over £1b in assets including all aspects of banking documentation, administration and custodianship, as well as international corporate structuring. We were closely involved with the largest M&A deal in the Channel Islands in 2005, which revolved around the acquisition of the shares of a LSE listed company. This was the first time in the Channel Islands that amalgamation legislation was used in order to ensure that the whole of the target company was acquired.
